Our Team

Tim Joeng

FOUNDER

Tim founded i-Qu & Co. after a 20-year venture capital and private investment experience. During his career, Tim has invested in many venture capital managers who have since become well-respected leaders in the field and who have backed startups that became valuable companies globally. This experience led to the formation of i-Qu, with the premise that early and sustained support of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial investment managers can provide superior returns to investors. 

Tim has invested on behalf of both family offices and institutional funds, previously as investment partner at Gresham Partners and portfolio manager at the Williams College endowment. Tim began his career as an Analyst at J.P. Morgan & Co.

Tim received his B.E.E. from Cooper Union and M.S. from Columbia University.

Shan Zhu

PARTNER

Shan is a partner at i-Qu & Co. with experience across venture capital and private markets investing. Previously, Shan was an investor at Mousse Partners and a banker at Merrill Lynch.

Shan received her B.A. from Peking University and MBA from Dartmouth Tuck School of Business.

Eunice Grobler

CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER

Eunice provides financial oversight and is also the Chief Compliance Officer at i-Qu & Co. Previously she was a fund controller at Siguler Guff and a senior auditor at Ernst & Young.

Eunice received her B.S. in Accounting  from Boston College.

Jun Chen

INVESTOR & INVESTOR RELATIONS

Jun is an investor as well as overseeing investor relations for the i-Qu funds. Previously she was a management consultant at Chartis. Jun has also worked at venture capital funds based in the New England areas.

Jun received her B.A. in Economics from Grinnell College and Master of Business Administration from Yale School of Management.

Antong Deng

INVESTOR

Antong is an investor at i-Qu, responsible for sourcing and researching investment opportunities. Previously Antong worked at venture capital firms Genbridge and Genesis Capital.

Antong received her Master's degree in Economics and Finance from the London School of Economics.

Lisa Yoon

FUND ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Lisa manages fund accounting for the i-Qu funds. Previously she was a Director in fund accounting at the Blackstone Group and a Fund Accountant at Siguler Guff.

Lisa received her B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University and Master of Accounting from University of Southern California.
